Embroidery Option
Why choose embroidery?
- Nothing says professional and quality like an embroidered company logo or text design on your workwear clothing.
- It’s also perfect for any material, be it Polo Shirt, Outdoor Wear, Sweatshirt or Fleece.
- Embroidery is always the most long-lasting way to go when it comes to personalised workwear.
Garments we love to embroider
In terms of suitability, embroidery tends to work the best on polo shirts, business shirts/blouses, tunics, jackets & headwear.
To ensure quality personalisation every time, we do not provide embroidery on garments that have a weight under 175gsm. The reason behind this is because the material is to thin so it cannot hold the embroidery and therefore tends to pukker. We therefore don't offer embroidery on thin garments as it doesn't give the quality, professional logo appearance that we pride ourselves on.
We do however, offer vinyl transfer printing (heat sealing) as an alternative for most of these garments.
Colours
There is no restriction when it comes to colours, as our machines can run up to 12 at a time. If you have specific colours you’d like us to match, we’ll use a comparable thread from our large stock.
Positions
We’ll embroider your design in any of the following positions:
Embroidery Charges
Embroidered Logo
Artwork set-up (each design) | £20 +VAT |
Application per garment (each position) | £3 +VAT |
Larger back embroidery (application per garment) | £5 +VAT |
Embroidered Text
Artwork set-up (each design) | FREE |
Application per garment (each position) | £3 +VAT |
Vinyl Transfers (Heat Sealing) Option
We also offer an option to print on a garment is by vinyl transfer. This method of personalisation is ideal for smaller runs, needed at fast turnaround times.
The best example of the appearance of a transfer is the names and numbers on the back of a football shirt.
A sheet of vinyl is carefully cut into the shape of your logo and then heat sealed onto the garment using a heat press machine.
Colours
Vinyl transfer works well for less complex logo designs with low colours, typically a logo with 1-2 colours would be applied with this method.
Garments we love to heat seal
Vinyl transfer is suitable for the majority of garments apart from fleece and wool.
We recommend this process for your Hi-Vis garments. Heat sealing has long been the most popular choice for profiling company t-shirts and safety wear.
Where materials are to thin to embroider we would recommend going with vinyl transfers instead.
